Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a self-declared democratic socialist who has routinely attacked the capitalist system and the billionaire class. Now 'AOC' is embracing a little capitalism of her own, selling overpriced clothing apparel that says, "Tax The Rich."
New York's AOC is probably one of the most recognized faces of the Democratic Party's progressive wing. She's proposed slapping a 70% income tax on Americans to fund massive environmental and social programs.
AOC tweeted Wednesday evening about the expansion of her merchandise shop, which now includes clothes supporting the "The New Green New Deal," "Student Debt," "Tax The Rich," and "Drink Water & Don't Be Racist."
A one-click glance at the "Tax The Rich" sweatshirt raises some questions, as its price is so expensive only "the rich" could afford it...
Conservative pundits and commentators took to social media to rip AOC's merchandise shop for charging high prices. "At $58.00 for a sweatshirt, you're not taxing the rich, you're overcharging the stupid," one Twitter user wrote.

So, just as Democratic leaders across the country demand you "do as I say, not as I do" with regard COVID regulations, it appears the self-identified 'socialist' and 'environmental warrior' is not quite willing to practice what she preaches oh-so-vociferously on Twitter.
