This is the last post for the sub-button 'Stocks Screeners' (under major button 'Markets'). We'll review here the last few features left:
NYTimes Sector Snapshot: An interactive screener (based on snapshot view) for different sectors (based on your definition). You can also define the time period of the snapshot and simultaneously it will show you the list of stocks with their weekly return and a picture of how the stocks performed against the S&P500 over the past year and past week.
FINVIZ Heatmap: This is an interactive map that shows all the stocks in the S&P500 (can be another index as well), divided by sectors. The map visualizes each stock in the index by its market cap (size of the stock block) and tendency (color of the stock block). This screen is unique and make the overviewng of stocks very clear and easy.
StockCharts Market Summary Carpet: Very interactive map of stock, which you can play with in order to get a colorful picture (from red to green as downward to upward) that summary the market. This map gives you a fast access to the marvelous charting system of StockCharts.
StockCharts S&P500 Sector Carpet: Same as the StockCharts Market Summary Carpet. The reason it apears is that S&P500 is a popular index so we decide to let fast access to it.
StockCharts Major Indices Carpet: Also same as the StockCharts Market Summary Carpet and we decide to put a fast link for it from the same reason.
That's it.
We encourage you to get inside Sargels Toolbar, check those links, meaning, actually trying these special tools.
This last part wasn't so hard but it gives you access to unusual and unique screeners and viewing possibilites. We hope that this tool is helpful for as it is for and we will continue the toolbar reviewing in the next posts.
